Tecboss 3D Drawing Pen, M1 Adults Kids, 3D Printer Printing Pen – USB Power, 2PCS Filament Refills, PLA and PCL Compatible – Black

We got this 3D pen back in October of this year. My 9-year-old was very excited
to get this. When we got it we immediately tried to use it. Our first reaction was this is going to be the best toy ever. However, we were disappointed it did not work for us. When we read the instructions, they made no sense what so ever. We even tried to look up instructions on how it work by googling or by watching YouTube videos, but none told us how to operate this pen. Videos showed were good if you already know how to get this pen going. We were very disappointed and put it away. After months later, I finally got I out and decided that I will figure out on my own how this thing works. And after figuring it out this is the best toy every according to my 9-year-old. Here are the step by step instructions on how this works. Plug this usb into the pen and in the outlet. Red light will turn on and so will the orange light. Orange light is for PCL and PLA. I think this one is PCL. Which is very confusing to figure out. But I found that on the box (I believe) plus it doesn’t even matter what it is cuz it worked even when orange light was on or off. Once the red light is blinking which takes about 5-10 mins the pen tip will get super hot. Do not touch the pen tip. At this time insert in the filament in the pen located by the usb/top of the pen. Filament comes in 2 different colors green and orange. Also, pen motor will not start to work unless you press both white buttons on the pen at the same time (that’s what I figured out on my own) green light will turn on. That’s when you will hear the pen make a noise and filament will start coming out.You can shape it however you want, however; make sure not to touch it when its hot. You can carefully try to peel it out and make all sort of things out of it. My 9-year-old is still learning to use this pen and making his own creations. He’s been having lots of fun playing and making stuff and giving it to his younger siblings. Overall, I think it’s a good pen but instructions pretty much sucked. My son loves it and is very happy to use this pen. Anything that keeps kids away from devices I’m all for it. I recommend this to anyone who wants cool fun toy to play with. 4 out of 5 stars.
